1.Greasy Hair

This is mistake #1. Applying paste to unwashed, greasy hair is a bad idea. Why? The paste is water-based, where fixing components play a key role by enveloping the hair and holding its shape. Grease interferes with this process. Imagine: the paste is like glue, the hair is the surface, and grease is like a layer of rubber between them. It will grip in some places and won’t in others.
The result is an unstable style. Conclusion: clean hair is the foundation of quality styling.

2.Unprepared Hair

You washed your hair — that’s great. But you didn’t give it a shape. The paste might still work, but you won’t get the maximum result. First, set the direction: a hairdryer + comb or at least a basic hand styling, like a messy look.
Even if you just comb your hair to the side and let it dry — that’s already a shape. And shape is half the result.

3.Too Little Product
